What's your opinion on the RC-20 Retro Color? Worth getting? Does it go on sale?

For Synthpop / 80s style music I can't recommend RC-20 enough. I'm sure you can get similar results with other plugins since it's basically just an effect collection but it's super handy to have all effects needed packaged into one plugin. So yeah, definitely recommended.
As for sales, I think it has smaller sales every now and then but I got it via splice.com where you can pay for certain plugins via a rent to own model which in my opinion is the easiest way to get it without straining your bank account too much.

Super crunchy and the reverb is perfect on everything. I agree with SASKID, maybe some more dynamic range like a quieter sparse section would have made it sound more epic.

I like that monophonic drowned out saxy sounding synth. Very peaceful and relaxing.

That sort of detuned arpeggiator at 0:22 is the bomb!

thanks! i made it so that it starts at a lower pitch than normal and then quickly transitions to the original pitch which gave it a really cool effect in my opinion

I really liked this. Intro instrument is great. I'd say the only thing I didn't like was there were sometimes an extra piano note here and there that didn't sound right to me... some small changes or simplifications could make this song perfect, sometimes less is more.
